Dress: Forever 21
Next step: pretty basic. What if it chilly? Add a cardigan! And a belt for good measure. Belts placed in the right spot do miracles for pear shaped ladies (me). Moving on...
Cardigan: H&M
Belt: Beth's loan for Europe (Thanks Beth!)
Top: Charlotte Russe
Belt: Urban Outfitters
Next step was really a no brainer, but this cool jacket doesn't get nearly as much love as it should. Mostly, because whenever I put it on I ask myself, "Tyne, do you really think you are cool enough to pull of this leather imitation?" The response is always a no. But hey, in Europe, they are like required.
Jacket: Unlisted (I got this somewhere in Chicago in July because I was freezing)
You might be saying, this is all good and fun but what if I am not into the lacy, frilly thing you adore. Well, I would say to you, "How does a baggy frocket (front pocket shirt- thanks Marissa Lang) sound to you? More Sporty Spice I'd say.
Tshirt: American Eagle Outlet
Now throw on some tights--black or brown, or grey or pink or yellow. And these are my shoe options. Where are the heals? Well, I am not bringing any to Europe... I just am thinking logically. If I haven't worn a pair since college, I am thinking living in a place where I walk everywhere won't tempt me into bringing some.
Boots from left to right: Athropologie, Famous Footwear, and Thrifted

haha, LOVE this post!
ReplyDeleteWay to go! I think this are just the beginning of what you can do with this dress!
ReplyDeleteFascinating...and hilariously written! :) You make me smile.
ReplyDeleteThanks Betsy! And thanks Cassidy too!
ReplyDeleteI should have mentioned that half of my wardrobe is packed up. I only brought home what I thought I might take to Europe. Aka--winter and neautral pieces.
